Study Description:
This study is testing an investigational inhaled combination medication for patients with asthma who experience severe exacerbations. Participants will receive either the investigational medication or an approved medication to be taken when necessary. Various assessments will be done at different time points and may include physical exams, vital signs, blood and urine testing, lung function testing, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and e-Diary entries. Total participation will be at least 6 months up to 3 years with at least 5 study visits once every 3 months. Eligibility for the study will be determined by the study doctor following one or more in-person screening visits to the clinic. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost.

Have you/Has your child been diagnosed with asthma for 1 year or longer?
Answer: Yes

Do you/your child use a corticosteroid inhaler (ICS) to treat your asthma every day? Some common ICS inhalers are:
- Advair Diskus
- Alvesco
- Arnuity or Breo Ellipta
- Asmanex
- Symbicort
- Flovent HFA
- Pulmicort
- Qvar
- Trelegy Ellipta
Answer: Yes

In the past year, have you/has your child had an asthma exacerbation (a worsening of asthma symptoms) that required treatment with oral corticosteroids or that led to an emergency room/urgent care visit or hospitalization?
Answer: Yes

Have you/Has your child been diagnosed with a lung disease other than asthma?

Common examples include:
- Cystic Fibrosis
- Lung cancer
- COPD
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Emphysema
Answer: No

Are you a current smoker?
Answer: No

Have you/Has your child had an asthma episode that required intubation in the past 5 years?
Answer: No
