Study Description:
This study is testing an investigational oral medication for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Participants will receive either the study medication or a placebo daily for approximately 4 weeks. Additional procedures include various diagnostic tests, vital sign tests, laboratory assessments, physical examinations, and possible questionnaires. Total participation will last approximately 7 weeks and would include regular doctor’s visits throughout the study. Eligibility for the study will be determined by the study doctor following one or more in-person screening visits to the clinic. Trial-related procedures and study medication will be provided at no cost.
